Terms of Use
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the WhaleLO website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Nature of the Platform
WhaleLO operates a technology marketplace platform that connects travelers with independent luggage storage providers (“Stations”). WhaleLO acts solely as an intermediary technology platform.
WhaleLO does not provide luggage storage services and does not own, operate, or manage any storage facilities.
All luggage storage services available through the Platform are provided directly by independent Stations.
2A. Operating entities
The Platform is operated by WhaleLO LLC (WhaleLO Limited Liability Company), State of Wyoming, United States, registered office 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. 3. Relationship with Other Terms
Use of specific services on the Platform may also be subject to additional terms, including:
- WhaleLO Customer Terms & Conditions
- Business Cooperation Agreements and related policies.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the terms governing a specific service, the specific service terms shall prevail.
4. User Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction to use the Platform.
5. User Accounts
Certain features of the Platform may require or automatically create a user account associated with the user's email address.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted through their account. Users must promptly notify WhaleLO of any unauthorized use of their account.
WhaleLO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
6. Permitted Use
Users agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
Users must not:
- misuse the Platform
- attempt to access restricted systems
- interfere with the operation of the Platform
- use the Platform for fraudulent or abusive activities.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the Platform, including software, design, domain names, trademarks, and branding, belong to WhaleLO or its licensors, and are used by the companies in the WhaleLO group under licence.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify Platform content without prior authorization.
8. Platform Availability
WhaleLO makes reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
WhaleLO may suspend, modify, or restrict access to the Platform for maintenance, upgrades, or operational reasons.
9. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party services, including services provided by independent Stations or payment providers.
WhaleLO does not control and is not responsible for the content, services, or practices of such third-party providers.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WhaleLO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
WhaleLO acts solely as a technology intermediary connecting Customers with independent Stations.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, unless mandatory law of the country in which you reside provides otherwise.
12. Changes to Terms
WhaleLO may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
